Friends of the Devonshire Park 25th Anniversary

In 2009 the ‘Friends’ celebrate their 25th Anniversary and the beautiful Devonshire Park Theatre will be 125 at the same time.

It was the vision of some theatre lovers who, during her centenary year, formed the FDPT to further the awareness of the theatre to the town and surrounding area, to encourage theatre going in general and the ‘Park’ in particular, whilst raising much needed funds to enhance and improve the internal fabric of the ‘Park’.

As we celebrate our Silver Anniversary, it is appropriate to thank all those Officers and Members who have supported our cause since 1984 in both social and fund raising events.

We look forward to many more years of support for the ‘Old Lady’.
