Carousel is a stunning romantic fantasy. When a trusting young mill worker falls for Billy, a charismatic fairground barker, she believes she will always be happy. Despite an unhappy and violent relationship, the naive and trusting Julie never stops loving Billy. Julie falls pregnant but in an effort to provide for his family, Billy dies in a botched robbery. Given one chance to put things right by a heavenly gatekeeper, Billy returns to earth for one day to help his unhappy daughter and make amends for his past misdeeds.

Including the songs June Is Bustin’ Out All Over, If I Loved You and the immortal You'll Never Walk Alone, Carousel is an emotional journey created by two of the greatest talents in theatrical history.
