The classic tale of teen rebellion and repression features a delightful combination of dance choreography and realistic and touching performances.
Teenager Ren moves from Chicago to small town America, but this is no ordinary town rock music and dancing are illegal in his new hometown. Whilst there isn't music and dance to distract him there is the beautiful but troubled Ariel.
Ariel's father however also happens to be the town's bible thumping minister who has enforced the ban on Rock n Roll and dance. This fast paced drama is filled with hit songs; Footloose, Let's Hear It for the Boy and many others.
The Stagers production team includes; Director Luisa Veitch, Musical Director Simon Pickering and Choreographer Fiona Dean.
