Written by Nick Moran, Telstar tells the true story of Joe Meek; the World's first independent record producer, who lived a brief, explosive and bizarre life which changed the world of music and the lives of everyone in his orbit.

His tragic death was probably the first savage evidence of the self-destruction that haunts the history of rock 'n roll.
