COVID-19 UPDATE 25 Mar 2020, 17:30pm

All shows at Eastbourne Theatres are now either cancelled or postponed up until Sunday 17 May.

Please do not contact Box Office, we are working through shows in date order.  We will be able to issue some refunds without contacting you. Otherwise, we will contact customers either by email, letter or phone with details for each individual show.

We will continue to post updates on individual shows on our social media pages and website over the coming days so please keep checking back.

Due to the current circumstances concerning the COVID-19 virus, all performances up to and including Sunday 17th May have been suspended and our Box Office has had to close until further notice.

Where possible, shows are being rescheduled and details will be available in due course.  We will try and get the new dates for rescheduled shows up on our web-site and social media platforms as we confirm them. Where a customer is unable to attend the new date, refunds will be given.  

Refunds will be made for all cancelled shows, and are currently being processed by our team in date order. 

During this period, our small but dedicated team will continue to work remotely where possible. However, please be aware that it will be much more difficult for them to answer queries or emails during this period and that there may be a significant delay in you receiving a response.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Eastbourne Theatres as soon as possible with an exciting programme of shows. Our website remains open 24 hours a day with tickets available for future performances. We will also continue to post ongoing updates regarding cancellations and rescheduled dates on both our website and social media channels.

In the meantime we thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times.

 

Eastbourne Theatre Ambassadors

Eastbourne Theatres run a successful Ambassadors Scheme; Try Theatre made up of local theatre enthusiasts who write reviews and spread the word about shows coming to Eastbourne Theatres.

We are currently recruiting and are looking for keen local, motivated individuals interested in spreading the word about shows on at our theatres and encouraging others to attend.

Launched in 2014, the scheme was set up to help spread the word about shows at the Congress and Devonshire Park Theatre as well as encouraging others to attend the theatre, to try something new or to try theatre again if they haven’t been for a while.

The reviews we receive from this group are posted on this website and through our EBTheatres social media feeds on both Facebook and Twitter. The Ambassadors also promote their reviews, the venues and the shows they’ve seen through their own blogs and social media channels.
