COVID-19 UPDATE 25 Mar 2020, 17:30pm

All shows at Eastbourne Theatres are now either cancelled or postponed up until Sunday 17 May.

Please do not contact Box Office, we are working through shows in date order.  We will be able to issue some refunds without contacting you. Otherwise, we will contact customers either by email, letter or phone with details for each individual show.

We will continue to post updates on individual shows on our social media pages and website over the coming days so please keep checking back.

Due to the current circumstances concerning the COVID-19 virus, all performances up to and including Sunday 17th May have been suspended and our Box Office has had to close until further notice.

Where possible, shows are being rescheduled and details will be available in due course.  We will try and get the new dates for rescheduled shows up on our web-site and social media platforms as we confirm them. Where a customer is unable to attend the new date, refunds will be given.  

Refunds will be made for all cancelled shows, and are currently being processed by our team in date order. 

During this period, our small but dedicated team will continue to work remotely where possible. However, please be aware that it will be much more difficult for them to answer queries or emails during this period and that there may be a significant delay in you receiving a response.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Eastbourne Theatres as soon as possible with an exciting programme of shows. Our website remains open 24 hours a day with tickets available for future performances. We will also continue to post ongoing updates regarding cancellations and rescheduled dates on both our website and social media channels.

In the meantime we thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times.


Summer 2019 Brochure Out Now!

The Eastbourne Theatres brochure for Summer 2019 is now available and it’s packed with a huge selection of shows for everyone!

Kicking off musicals at the newly refurbished Congress Theatre this season,  join Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria in Madagascar The Musical (14-18 May) which is sure to be a 'crack-a-lackin' show! If it's a rock musical you're after, award-winning American Idiot (21-25 May) features the music of Green Day. We also have the welcome return of Richard O'Briens's Rocky Horror Show (27 May - 1 June), Thriller Live (1-6 July), Dirty Dancing (15-20 July) and Annie (13-17 August). Plus the marvelous musical comedy by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, Calendar Girls The Musical starring Lesley Joseph.

Drama fans are also spoilt for choice with a plethora of shows playing at the Devonshire Park Theatre this season including Stones In His Pockets (13-18 May), direct from Broadway and prior to a London run Napoli. Brooklyn starring Georgia May Foote (Coronation Street), phil&ben productions (Dial M For Murder, Don't Dress For Dinner) Deathtrap. Plus from the team behind last summer's Return To The Forbidden Planet and One Man, Two Guvnors, don't miss Eastbourne Theatres latest in-house production of The 39 Steps (15 July - 17 August). This hilarious comedy stars just four fearless actors who play 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun.

With music from Rumours of Fleetwood Mac (7 June), Solid Gold Rock 'n' Roll Show (14 June), The Best Of Queen (20 June), The Drifters (11 July), We Love Little Mix (23 August), Beyond The Barricade (24 August).
