By Car

Eastbourne Theatres are just 45 minutes from Brighton, 30 minutes from Hastings and Bexhill and 60 minutes from Tunbridge Wells. Key approach roads include M23, A27, A22 and the scenic coastal A259.

Parking

The venues closest car park is on College Road with 200 parking spaces, this is pay and display during the day and free after 6pm. There is also plentiful on-street parking which is free after 6pm.

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are situated directly in front of the Devonshire Park Theatre and in College Road, Car Park a short walk from the Congress Theatre. 

NCP Car Park at Trinity Place (BN21 3BZ) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

By Bus

Stagecoach Eastbourne and Brighton & Hove Buses run regular services stopping near the theatres. Stagecoach Eastbourne Service 3 stops outside the Winter Garden.

If you arrive in to the main bus station on Gildredge Road, please follow the walking directions from the Train Station (the train station is at the end of this road).

By Train

The venues are a 10-15 minute walk from Eastbourne train station. Frequent direct services are available from Hastings, Lewes, Brighton, Haywards Heath and London Victoria with connecting services to Tunbridge Wells and Seaford. Walk from station (10-15 minutes).

Head out of the main entrance and straight down Terminus Road towards the town centre. You will see Barclays Bank ahead of you and HSBC Bank on your right, turn right at HSBC on to Cornfield Terrace. Walk straight on, ahead is a large roundabout with pedestrian crossing to the right. Ahead of you is the David Salmon Furniture shop, keeping this on your right walk down Cornfield Terrace past The Museum of Shops continuing over the road and on to Chiswick Place to the end of the road. In front of you is the Devonshire Park Theatre. Keeping the theatre on your right continue down Carlisle Road and past The Stage Door Pub on your right, the next building on your right is the Winter Garden. Continue past the Winter Garden and ahead of you on the right is the Welcome Building and Congress Theatre.
