COVID-19 UPDATE 25 Mar 2020, 17:30pm

All shows at Eastbourne Theatres are now either cancelled or postponed up until Sunday 17 May.

Please do not contact Box Office, we are working through shows in date order.  We will be able to issue some refunds without contacting you. Otherwise, we will contact customers either by email, letter or phone with details for each individual show.

We will continue to post updates on individual shows on our social media pages and website over the coming days so please keep checking back.

Due to the current circumstances concerning the COVID-19 virus, all performances up to and including Sunday 17th May have been suspended and our Box Office has had to close until further notice.

Where possible, shows are being rescheduled and details will be available in due course.  We will try and get the new dates for rescheduled shows up on our web-site and social media platforms as we confirm them. Where a customer is unable to attend the new date, refunds will be given.  

Refunds will be made for all cancelled shows, and are currently being processed by our team in date order. 

During this period, our small but dedicated team will continue to work remotely where possible. However, please be aware that it will be much more difficult for them to answer queries or emails during this period and that there may be a significant delay in you receiving a response.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Eastbourne Theatres as soon as possible with an exciting programme of shows. Our website remains open 24 hours a day with tickets available for future performances. We will also continue to post ongoing updates regarding cancellations and rescheduled dates on both our website and social media channels.

Car

Eastbourne Theatres are just 45 minutes from Brighton, 30 minutes from Hastings and Bexhill and 60 minutes from Tunbridge Wells. Key approach roads include M23, A27, A22 and the scenic coastal A259.

Bus

Stagecoach Eastbourne and Brighton & Hove Buses run regular services stopping near the theatres. Stagecoach Eastbourne Service 3 and 3A, Brighton & Hove Coaster Service 12A stop outside the Winter Garden.

If you arrive in to the main bus station on Terminus Road, please follow the walking directions from the Train Station (the train station is at the top of this road).

Rail

The venues are a 10-15 minute walk from Eastbourne train station. Frequent direct services are available from Hastings, Lewes, Brighton, Haywards Heath and London Victoria with connecting services to Tunbridge Wells and Seaford. Walk from station (10-15 minutes).

Head out of the main entrance and straight down Terminus Road towards the town centre. You will see Barclays Bank ahead of you and HSBC Bank on your right, turn right at HSBC on to Cornfield Terrace. Walk straight on, ahead is a large roundabout with pedestrian crossing to the right. Ahead of you is the David Salmon Furniture shop, keeping this on your right walk down Cornfield Terrace past The Museum of Shops continuing over the road and on to Chiswick Place to the end of the road. In front of you is the Devonshire Park Theatre. Keeping the theatre on your right continue down Carlisle Road and past The Stage Door Pub on your right, the next building on your right is the Winter Garden. Continue past the Winter Garden and ahead of you on the right is the Congress Theatre.

Parking

The venues closest car park is on College Road with 200 parking spaces, this is pay and display during the day and free after 6.30pm. There is also plentiful on-street parking which is free after 6pm.

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are situated directly in front of the Devonshire Park Theatre and behind the Congress Theatre. 

NCP Car Park at Trinity Place (BN21 3BZ) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
